INSTRUCTIONS

Steps

1

Print Your Beads - Use any colors you like, you will need 100pcs

2

Cut the wood for the frame. Top and Bottom - 2pcs 1"x2"x16-1/2" Long. Sides - 2pcs 1"x2"x9" Long.

3

Cut rods - 10pcs x 10" long

4

Drill the holes for the rods. Mark out and drill 10x 1/4" holes along the Top and Bottom.

5

Pre-drill the holes for your wood screws, this will prevent splitting when you assemble your abacus. Pick a drill bit slightly smaller than your screws and drill through the Top and Bottom and into the Sides.

6

String your beads, 10 beads for each of the rods.

7

Assemble your abacus. Start by attaching the Sides to the Bottom. Gently press in the rods, you may need to do a little sanding to get a good fit. Attach the Top with you other screws.
