Print Your Beads - Use any colors you like, you will need 100pcs
Cut the wood for the frame. Top and Bottom - 2pcs 1"x2"x16-1/2" Long. Sides - 2pcs 1"x2"x9" Long.
Cut rods - 10pcs x 10" long
Drill the holes for the rods. Mark out and drill 10x 1/4" holes along the Top and Bottom.
Pre-drill the holes for your wood screws, this will prevent splitting when you assemble your abacus. Pick a drill bit slightly smaller than your screws and drill through the Top and Bottom and into the Sides.
String your beads, 10 beads for each of the rods.
Assemble your abacus. Start by attaching the Sides to the Bottom. Gently press in the rods, you may need to do a little sanding to get a good fit. Attach the Top with you other screws.
